B.’d Up
…[Thursday], I woke up and caught a cab to 14th Street (Meatpacking District) where my Tod’s (Roger Vivier) appointment was scheduled. I got there a little early so I decided to eat something before I sat down and sold myself. I got my typical cafe mocha with a plain bagel with cream cheese, sat down at a table, and reviewed some company history. I interviewed with the Director of Human Resources and The PR Assistant for Vivier, two of the nicest people ever.
…After Tod’s, I went to Emilio Pucci, where I interviewed with the Retail Coordinator for Pucci internationally. I must say, the run down of her job absolutely motivated my ambition even more.
This concrete jungle is one where I know I can prosper.

MarketYOURself.
…Today was such an adventurous day in the concrete jungle. It started in the Hearst Corporation building on 14th Street, where I “interviewed” for Marie Claire seeing that I have already had an internship with them since Christmas Break in the fashion closet. So when I got there, I saw James Te wearing Christian Louboutin loafers, s p i k e s of course. I had to compliment them. After he realized, I interviewed already, things were a done deal. I pretty much had an orientation of the fashion closet with the Freelance Assistant of Marie Claire and one of the current interns on staff. Garments were everywhere!
…after Marie Claire, I got lost in Harlem on one of the trains, fun but quite intimidating. Haha.
Then, my professor contacted me and said my Emilio Pucci interview has been moved to tomorrow, so my schedule freed up a bit. So of course I did want I do best, went looking around in the stores. Saks 5th Avenue with a close friend was on the top of the list.
So, I went back to ABC Studios were Julia Roberts was interviewing for her new movie release, “Mirror Mirror”. She is so nice.
Then, it was time for Diane von Furstenberg! I loved the office and the staff there. Everyone was so fashion forward, and the decor of the office was immaculate.
I love the city. I dont want to l e a v e .

Today, was extrememly interesting in New York City. I woke up at 5am, prepared my attire. Traveled to 44th & Broadway to ABC Studios, where I was backstage. Meeting, netwokring, and conversing with many individuals within the communications flied, including hair, makeup, and of course Robin Robert’s stylist Diandre, who got me into the studio.
I met Robin, who was abosultely amazing. And has networked me with a major brand. I will keep you guys posted on that.
Two interviews today, and walked the concrete jungle again and stumbled upon a random photoshoot and The New York City Public Library. Yeah this is why I love NYC.
