Stay Taylor Made

As we know here within TheBlaqueBook world, we believe in limitless ambitious and creative expression. With goes without saying, that the young lady I am about to introduce to you epitomizes these two attributes. image

Stay Taylor Made is a classic combination of urban style and vintage cool. Setting new trends with bold, uniquely styled clothing, originating from the gifted mind of up and coming young designer Taylor Alexis Young. She chose to name the line Taylor Made in representation of herself and her stance on the fashion industry. She incorporated the name Taylor, derived from the word “Tailor” which is defined as (A person whose occupation is making or altering outer garments).image copy image-1 image-2 image-3

In addition to this sector of her empire, she will also be introducing “Forever Young”, a line dedicated to a phrase coined in remembrance of her grandfather, which is set to release May 22, 2013.

Blood Sisters.

The styling of this editorial is one that completely touches my soul. The deep and dark depiction of the mindless story line. You can’t really tell what is going on but it leaves the mind to wonder and create your own story. That is my goal most of the time when I create my own editorials, it makes viewers more attached to the photography and the creative of the art.

It never ceases to amaze me at how their features come across on camera, absolutely stunning most of the time. I can not wait to get my hands on an Asian model.. hmmm.

New Beginnings

I would first like to apologize to TheBlaqueBook viewers for the delay in updates but I have been busy recollecting the pieces of my life after my transition from New York City working at Diane von Furstenberg. DVF was one of the most rewarding experiences. I said I never wanted to be the one that worked retail after graduation, that is why I forced myself up to NYC anyway possible to grind and hustle the best way I could to prove that I deserved my spot in the industry. Things did not go as planned and I got really depressed after commencement based off the fact that I know I worked so hard and gave 110%, however my heart to fight has not went anywhere and I believe that God would not bring me this far to leave me where I am. I hope that someone reads this and believes that even when you give your all and things dont turn out the way you want them too, there is still hope at the end of the tunnel.

However, I digress from that bridge brand. Anyway, I decided to give you guys a pictorial arrangement of what I have been up too since the transition.

Alder New York Fall/Winter 2013

The next collection I am going to present to some and introduce to others is probably one of the most innovative in clash of patterns, flow, functionality, and of course fashion I have seen in a while. Additionally, it is one collection that I would definitely wear including the kilts. All late individuals need not apply and/or comment. -Management

Alder New York is a Brooklyn-based menswear and apothecary goods company founded by David J. Krause and Nina Zilka. The brand has become known for marrying function and style since its launch in 2011.
